What's actually in the price?
All gear (cameras, recorder, hard drive, cables, brackets, weatherproofing, PoE switch if needed), full install labour, app setup, and a free yard sign + window decals. The only thing extra is HST.
Do I have to pay all up front?
No. 50% deposit on booking, 50% on completion when you're happy with the walk-through. We accept e-transfer, debit, or cash. We don't offer in-house financing.
What if I want 5 cameras, not 4 or 6?
Pick the closest package and we adjust. Adding an extra camera at install is $199. If you only need 5 and we start from the 6-camera tier, you get a credit on the unused channel. We line it up exactly during the on-site quote.
What does the warranty actually cover?
Three years on parts and labour. If a camera, the recorder, or anything related to our install fails inside that window, we come out, diagnose, and replace it at no charge. Things outside our control — a tree falling on a camera, lightning, a contractor cutting a cable during another job, vandalism, theft — aren't covered.
Why no monthly fee?
Because you bought the cameras. The footage records locally to the recorder in your house. The phone app is free. Anyone charging monthly for that is charging you twice.
How long is the quote good for?
30 days. Gear pricing moves a bit; if it's been longer than that we'll re-confirm before booking the install.
